I have a D2 Ser.# 5j2956sp her name is Felix (the cat) wife named her.
She runs like a top but she has a broken leg and felix and I need your help.
Her right final drive case P.N.# 4b6595 is cracked and has bin welded wrong 4 times so the crack just keeps walking. if it was welded right the first time she would be good to go BUT NOT..
So I'm looking for a good used Case but I'm new to this fun game and have no idea where a good bone yard is close to northern Minnesota.
So Please all the help she and I can get would be very helpful .

My 5J3501 to 5J10561 shows 3 different rightside housings ,the earily 4B6595 used to 5J4551 a 2nd housing 8B997 to 5J6158 ,a 3rd housing 8B9375 effective with 5J6159 up
Starting with the 2nd housing 8B997 effective with 5J4552 the mounting bolts increase on each side by 1. bolt ,and the gasket part# changes
I ran the frist 2 part# on Machinery Trader parts search ,and none showed up ,but the 3rd housing 8B9375 is shows that FP Smith Equipment in CA has 8 -8B9375 housings in stock telephone # 888 610 6919
You need to see if your 4B6595 changes up to the 8B9375 ,if it does you have acces to 8 housings ,if your part # doesn't change you have to stay with tractor serial numbers 5J4551 down for your housing

Let me know if you get one in CA. I am driving from Washington thru Northern CA to the bay area around March 18 to 20th. I can help you out getting one back here if you are successful in locating one.

I do have a electric start D2 5j forsale. Have him contact me. $2800 it's a runner. Besides all that...make sure you stop for a tour of the worm farm. You'll be impressed.

Definitely would like to see the worm farm again. We will have to keep an close eye on Debby though. She has been talking about going fishing and might try to pocket a couple workers. I'll give you a call a couple days before we get there as our schedule is quite fluid.

The final drive case 4B6595 interchanges with 4F6163, and it appears that any final drive case from any wide D2 will fit your tractor.
