I was visiting one of my vendors, and told him what I was working on a Cat Ten and he showed me a tool they just got in stock.

"Can you use this?"
I replied on the spot, yes! Since I had to put one track back on and do the other side later.

$20. cash and took it home with me from surplus merchandise show in Las Vegas.
I last saw and used one of these in 1987 on a M60 tank track at Camp Eliot, San Diego when visiting the Marine Reserve Company.

Looks just like the ones used for putting tire chains on the log skidders. I can see how they would also pull the slack in a track. Good buy.

you got half of it you should have more than that it will work but be easy it will pop off easy its a real early one and not made for any thing big its like for chain on a rock crusher the track chain setup is a lot different ok so just be care full the full track puller is a lot different a lot bigger check in the back logs here and you can find picks of the right one its triple the size

Used it to push stuck engine off tranny.

Got enough of a gap to pu the pry bars in. Tool has more tha paid for itself.
