Are those steel bars wielded to the cast pads?

It does look like they welded grouser bar to the cast pads. What you can see of the undercarriage looks pretty good.

I really like the wooden canopy, I haven't seen one like that before. I wonder if someone copied the factory steel canopy. It has all the same legs, braces and stuff. It has the earlier, two heat riser tube manifolds and what you can see of the manifolds looks good, too.

The flywheel is wrong and the seat assembly. Possibly a early engine in a later tractor, or wrong manifold.

That 60 does have the early lighter single gusset transmission housing. Caterpillarman

question are 60's really worth that much? it's not that far away from me but for a complete non running and i missing something here? as for the engine on ebay are you telling me that i could sell a complete one on a motor stand for 5000? i still new are this but did not think that 60 were worth that much. there was nice 60 that had the snow package that was on hear a while back must have bean a real steal at 27,000 for a restored 60.

Asking price versus true sale price in many case is different, I would point out both are still for sale.
