Listing this for one of our members. D4 2T5957 WSP with Trackson cable shovel. Pictures show the bulldozer blade, but the shovel is also included. Located near Osawatomie, Ks. $4,500/offer
From the owner:
"she was running like a top when dad parked her where the pics were take .that would have been about 09. he would have been around 89 at the time. the last few times he ran it I pulled him with my old super m farmall and a very large bungie rope. the pony motor got so cranky that I grew tired of cranking it. You will notice that the grozers are cut off. that was done when the maint. dept at the state mental first bought from the army in the early 1950,s so they could operate it without damaging the paved roads around grounds. dad was told that it had sat at a army since new and had never been use because it was already obsolete when delivered. the state used to buy all sorts of surplus items from the government cheap. the 4 was used very little before another crawler with hyd. was bought. it sat in the compound for years until pop managed to buy it. he cleared brush and built a a very impressive dam with it on a little 33 acre patch of ground he owned adjacent to the stat hosp grounds in the late sixtys. the hoist was working well and the clutch and tranny final drive were in fine order. dad always kept it serviced. it also has a bucket with it. access to it is great."
