Hi Wombat,
the Boss's Thirty, as seen at the LGS Cat Rally, has home made conveyer belt ones in it. I made a template and cut out the shapes.
I punched the holes out with a wad punch--$$$$'s were tight by this time, even though time is money I just did as instructed.
For a Show Pony even fairly thin belting with lots of ply's works--just cut more link sections to fill the space on the drive pins.
