I'm selling my 1954 D8 13A ser.#13A1275 with 17139 Hrs. Both engines run. Carb & Starter on the ponymotor work but need TLC (Cleaning Rebuild). It has Pencil Stick Steering. (Rivinious Power Steering, No Clutch Levers) It uses hydraulics to operate the steering clutches. Pins & Bushings have been turned, not much wear since. Diesel Engine sounds like the old straight pipe Cats should. No smoke. Located in New Hampshire. I've reduced my asking price to 6500.00 or Best Offer. I also have a D2 # 5J 1112 I'll throw in with the deal. The D2 started in 2000 and I drove it around a bit, one of the steering clutches was stuck. Contact Dana Burtt, 603-679-8875 or cell# 603-686 9028 "Make an offer" to good for salvage.

Hi mtashfarm,
That's a good looking machine. I own a D9 and a D7E; I find the larger machines to be less desireable to some because they're harder/more costly to transport. For example, I'm located in south central Missouri and it would cost me $2000-3000 to have it hauled, not to mention coming back for the D2.
I'm new to ACMOC, but see LOTS of activity on here about the smaller machines-especially the D2. Just a thought, but you might want to consider advertising that D2 separately with pics and see if you get some bites on the D8.
Best of luck!
