I live in northern mn and my mom passed away last spring and my dad is in nursing home. We need to sell the d7 and the d4 loader. Does anyone have a good idea on how much these machines are worth. They both run and operate. The tracks are shot on the d4. The d7 is in the best shape. New under carriage in late 70s along with the tracks. Hardly used since. Thanks for any input.

Can you post any pictures and the serial numbers. Might need three posts to post pictures first . Also, if you edit your profile with you address, there is a good chance that one of the members will be in your general area and be able to help you out. Information like when they were run last, if they drive and steer OK, if the pony motor runs, etc, any other information you can remember is all a plus.

The serial numbers are on the back on the back near the left side toward the top of the transmission case. If the tag is missing the serial number should be stamped into the case of the transmission also. Also is quite often a tag on the left side of the engine toward the back on the block.

The D7 is 17A4105. It was running and working yesterday. Needs clutch adjusted and I will do that next weekend. Other than that it is in very good condition.
The D4 is 7U33355 it was working fine this summer. It has a caterpillar loader with about a yard and quarter bucket. The tracks are worn out. Won't be able to get pictures til next weekend. Thanks.

clutch now adjusted and everything works great. The D4 didn't have a battery but we pull started it with the D7 and that works good too. I would say only thing in poor condition is the tracks on the D4.The pony motor on the D7 runs but not the greatest I am sure a little carburetor work will straighten that out. The D7 is sold and we are asking $3500 on D4 or best offer.
