3T Radiator was created by Andrew
G,Day All.
Looking for a radiator core for my 3T 26291. It is the narrow one with cast top and bottom tanks and oil cooler beside radiator core.
Doesnt have to be pretty just as long as I can make it hold coolant.
I under stand some of the blokes are putting together a container in the USA to aus . We may be able to connect with if a core is available
in USA.
Thanks Andrew. K

Hi Andrew, have you tried Tilly's or Paul Moore up at Toowoomba? One of our Aussie ACMOC members in Tasmania just bought a decent used radiator for his D7 down in Hobart so they are around, there were and still are a lot of those old D7's in Oz, you can get a new core out of the USA obviously but that will cost about $1,200 minimum by the time you get it home, depending on freight methods, and as I understand there are several different cores in those old 3T's and 4T's, one version has solder on tanks, so you will need to be very careful going down that path, to make sure you get the right core.
Regards
Mike

G,Day Mike.
Thanks for your reply, I am hoping to come across a usable used core more locally , but thought I would put it out there to see what is around.
The old core is very rotten , spent a lot of time soldering holes and still more leaks.
Some one would have one with some tubes damaged but could be sealed up to make work.
This radiator has cast bolt on tanks with the oil cooler beside the radiator core rather than in front.
I have a spare 7M Core here with solder on tanks , but this wont suit a later 3T.
Thanks
Andrew K.
