D6c dies was created by 69UD6C
My 1976 d6c dies during use. The engine strts loosing power then will only idle for a minute or two then it dies. Almost impossible to restart and only after a lot of ether. What is causing this and how do I fix it. It has an 3306 t engine and serial number is 69u766.

You would get better results if you post in the Discussion area of the Bulletin Board and not in the For Sale/Wanted area.

if you have a fuel pressure gage when you get it running check the fuel pressure, it maybe filters, diesels of all makes are known to shut down like that if they can't get fuel
