I've been producing heavily weathered models for antique machinery/auto enthusiasts for just over a year. This Twenty is my latest creation. Great job. What is the overall dimensions of the model? Hard to tell with out anything to reference to.

Hi Old Iron! Hmm, I suppose that would be crucial information huh?

The case is 13" wide and 9" tall. The entire project weighs nearly 8 pounds. The crawler is 1:16th scale at 8" long and 5.5" to the top of the exhaust.

Thank you! I too have my own headaches with the big toys but modeling is my escape. I'm already planning for my next project. I just don't know which it'll be yet. I might do an Allis Chalmers K which means I'll have to take my coverage off the ACMOC forum. lol

We all love pictures, we all love the talk about machining, manufacturing, 3-d printers, autocad, etc., we all love any machine and any excuse to talk, kibitz, criticize and critique.

I for one don't care if it is Allis Chalmers, Ford, Chevrolet, Fiat, American Locomotive or whatever. I'd like to see it, talk about it and hear about your creativity.

Keep posting, whether it is Cat or not. Even if your next project is a car or truck, it was used around Cat equipment.

You can't just walk in the room, supply everyone with crack and get the party started, then disappear. You now have an obligation to feed the habit you've started.
