I am looking for an electric starter for the pony motor on my 3T. Ran a 3T in the mid 1980's that had this option so I know there were some out there. Any information on specs, part numbers, or other relevant points would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

No longer mining. Lived and mined in the Forty-Mile district for three years 1983-1985. Squaw Gulch off of Canyon Creek. Then moved across the Canadian border to the Sixty-Mile area in the Yukon Territory and mined on Little Gold and Glacier Creeks for six more years. Got out after the 1991 season. High fuel prices and falling gold prices ended my mining days. I use my current 3T for fire breaks and road maintenance on a family farm in southern Georgia now.

I can find no info on the two numbers 3F9277 & 3F9549. Through more digging I came up with 6B9157 & 6B9158. These two numbers are the actual starter and the cast housing that bolts onto the pony motor. If anyone could provide any other details about this I would be very appreciative!
Thanks,

Goldminer, I believe the number Old Magnet provided may have been for the attachment group. Those group numbers don't identify any single part, but instead a box full of everything necessary to add a particular feature.
Old Magnet's numbers probably identify a group which you could order from Cat which would provide everything necessary to add electric start to a particular serial number range. The group likely includes the two parts you identified and may include other small necessary parts, such as possibly battery cables, a battery box, basically everything necessary to add electric start.
Magnet will be along shortly to clarify or correct as necessary.
Pete.

Here are the starter groups. Complete systems with/without battery and 18 or 40 amp generators with or without lights are yet different group numbers.
