Humm I went and looked at it, the pictures were not current, the bottom is a -0- shot. clutches stuck, pony turns by hand no compression, sounds like starter stuck in gauged, can't move any starting controls, cap missing from rad looks like frozen water in it, no water in engine oil that I can see. motor not sure if it turns over , the belt was petrified and pulleys had a lot of old rust on them . the bottom rollers are missing the side edges on a lot of them, the front idlers are worn right through, rears are sharp as points, . the owner all of sudden was out . Think I should run away ? I took some pics maybe I can try and upload

I also looked at that tractor pretty rough , it sold for $ 1835 Big mortor did turn over ,not stuck

At 1800 + that seemed a heck of a lot for a machine with like no parts to salvage off of or am I just not thinking right ???

That is wise advice, I was hoping that since it was not too far back to my shop it was worth looking at, lost 1/2 day 60.00 in diesel, but like you said I really won.
