Pump has had all surfaces ground and hand lapped. Shaft built up and lip type seals replace the old style packing type seals. If interested, call Bill Walter; 1 816 891 8654 or E-mail; <a href="This email address is being protected from spambots. Hi Old Magnet. Good to hear from you. Right now I'm holding off as to what Seal number I'm using. I have to modify the seal body and then I have invested some $$$$ into a surface grinder
so my R&D team feels we need to keep working on this project to make sure it gets off the ground in the right fashion. Hope you understand. Mean time, if you or your friends need any old style injectors rebuilt or pumps checked and calibrated, check out my price list under "Caterpillar Diesels " on the opening page. Appreciate your interest. Bill Walter

Have you been able to find a seal that matches the shaft diameter and the
ID of the packing cage?
