Still looking for the top cover for my D4 Hyster winch. My 2T came with the PCU on top from when it was a cable machine i'd guess. Anyway, guy contacted me a few years ago looking for one to mount on his winch / cable blade 2T that was restored to military period as his did not function. I sold it to him-good decision or not, I want to get my winch back on and need the cover.

I will look for a picture of it and dig up a part number. I have the manual somewhere, but can't put my hands on it. Allied has a link to it as well.

Let me know if you have the part lying around.

Thank you-
Bernie

Hi Bernie,

You might want to contact Phillips Tractor in Gaston OR (503-662-3929), General Gear in Boise ID (800-531-9021) or Northwest Tractor in Boring OR (503-658-5545) for the part(s) you need. I've had good dealings with all of 'em. Usually if one doesn't have what you're looking for, they'll refer you to someone who might.

Good luck
Paul

Paul-Good to e-hear from you! I sure hope things are well in Oregon, no doubt you are prepared for snow and ice that might be thrown your way.

I have contacted those sources in the past, (from your suggestions I think), but lost track of my contact sheet for them, so thanks! I remember Philips in particular as it seems the proprietor is second or third generation-young guy and remember he was just sort of taking over the business.

I think the shipping was the killer for out your way, but I'll call out there again. Supposedly a bone yard in northern Indiana somewhere, but have not been able to locate that one.

Best to you Paul and your family with this rapidly approaching Christmas and holiday season.

Bernie
