Now, Caterpillarman is on one side of Tremonton, UT, and Minnesota is on the other.

Tremonton is where the ACMOC National Show will be this August. Make a deal on the tractor you want and give Caterpillarman and yourself an excuse to take a nice drive and have fun at the show. Basically, free shipping then!

Just a thought. If you don't want to go, I bet a friend nearby will.

Pete.

Unfortunately I know no one near me who is interested in old Cats. The closest I know of are some guys over on the far side of the state that I talked to a few years ago on here. About 200 miles away.

With the weather we have been having this winter it could be all the sides are the wrong side. But it did get above zero for a few hours today!::noidea:

oldtanker - 7UPuller has the other thread about an empty trailer going from California to Montana. That's at least halfway to your place, maybe more. I know 7UPuller always likes to work both ways and hates deadheading. Make a deal with Caterpillarman for one of these, 7UPuller can pick it up at the top of the hill and get it a long ways towards you. I bet someone on this board somewhere around Montana could receive and store the machine until you could come and get it, or arrange for someone to get it for you.

There's always a way. Those Cats are calling your name. I was up at Caterpillarman's last weekend to pick up something I had bought, and he's got some really nice looking stuff.

I'm about 60 miles from the ND border. The guys I know about are near Duluth, bout 200 miles away.

Pete, with paying shipping plus the fuel and meals to drive to MT I'd about have to get a dozer for free. It about 440 miles for me just to get to the MT border. Plus however far from there to where 7Upuller is. Have a hunch I'd have more in shipping than the dozer.

I found one not too far from me that I'm going to look at next week.
