Hi;
I am looking for an operator's manual and a service manual for my 1936 Caterpillar RD-6 crawler. It is low serial number from 1936. Thanks, Roland (roerjm)

I don't know if you're looking for originals or reproductions, but I have had excellent service and good manuals from Jensales for repro's. I just ordered a parts manual for a 35 last week. I use them in the shop since they are spiral bound, they lay flat. And no chance of ruining an original book that way, either. They have a good website to order from, or helpful people on the phone also.

Hi Ken;
Thanks for your response. My RD-6 is lower serial number (2H 1274) than the book you saw on ebay. I appreciate your help! Roland

My son has a parts and operators manuals for a RD6. He is using them working on his RD6. I can scan some pages if you want. Sorry they are not for sale.

Unless jensales has improved the quality of the illustrations in their manuals I would find another vendor. I got some for the D2 about 15 years ago and the pic quality was terrible, looked clear as mud. Good renderings are invaluable to a new tractor owner and make the text understandable.
