Bee Gee Hydraulic Unit Model 1000-1 For Sale

I am offering a Bee Gee model 1000-1 Hydraulic unit for sale. This unit works and has a place for two remote outlets, it does not have any female couplings on it at this time. It is currently on my 1939 6J R2, but I assume it would work on a D2 of similar vintage. I am asking $300.00 OBO. I would trade this even up for a working 540 RPM PTO unit for my R2, as long as the buyer pays shipping on both items. If any one is interested PM me or email <a href="This email address is being protected from spambots. $100.00 bucks will buy this hydraulic unit. I would like to see it go to someone who can use it, right now it is just in my way on the tractor. I will be removing it soon and it will only sit around the shed and collect dust.

Those Be- Ge units will fit a verity of different equipment... with the right adaptor and drive shaft. I have seen the exact same pump on Cats, AC and IH crawlers and on John Deere D's and IH O-4 wheel tractors. Fairly common hydraulic pump for AG work back in the day. More than likely one of these adaptors was probably sitting in some junk pile on a farm for years up until the last decade during the mass exodus of treasures, parts and history.

A good place to start would be Tom over at Associated Tractor in Stockton.. information in parts sticky.

If you look at the second picture you see a flange right behind the pump.

Unless there is more going on with this unit that was changed over the years!!

You unbolt the unit right there behind the pump and either get a new adaptor or make a new one with a couple of CNC cut flanges which many steel service center offer now. Then a tube is welded between the two flanges at the right length and you are done maybe a little machine work in there to true things up for alignment and sealing in the gear oil.

Last time I needed a drive shaft we got two splined sleeves from our bearing house and welded a tube in between and had it balanced.

Getting the proper length of adaptor and the right length drive shaft would be the hardest part.
