D2 5U serial 5U9962 with D2N Hyster winch. Both engines turn. The starting engine had heavy rust in the top of the left cylinder. I scraped it out and sanded it, but it is still pitted and there is little or no compression in that cylinder. There is also no spark out of the magneto.

The diesel turns freely and has detectable compression, but this machine sat for several years and the cylinders are no doubt dry.

The machine will roll for loading but the steering clutches are stuck. The transmission seems to be in good shape. I can move the machine in each gear by turning the fan with the clutch engaged.

The winch operates in both directions and free-wheels and the brake works. I operated the winch by turning the diesel by hand. The right cover plate to the winch is missing. The controls are all there.

Will sell for $2,000. I figure the winch is worth $1,500 and the D2 is worth $800 here for scrap but would run and should make you feel good about it.

I will sell the winch separately for $1,500 and the crawler separately for $800.

Got to be patient Jim. Not a big market for the parts. But sooner or later someone will pop up and want the tractor.
