I have my eye on another machine, and considering selling my Diesel Fifty. The tractor is a 1935 wide gauge, Pony engine starts and runs well, diesel engine starts easily and runs well. The tractor drives fine, master clutch, steering clutches, and brakes all work fine. The tin work is good, has new seat cushions, gauges and a brand new radiator core. I have plowed 10 acres or so with a JD 5 bottom trip plow, and the tractor runs strong. If any one is interested PM me or email at <a href="This email address is being protected from spambots. The tractor is located about 40 miles east of Springfield IL. Thanks Bill

Thanks for the compliment Bill, I am asking 10,000 OBO for the it. I have really enjoyed having it as she is a very nice running old tractor. I just need to make some funds, and shed room for another machine.

Those machines of that era had a lot of class...built to work but stylish at the same time.

Hello Billy
I am still interested in your fifty. How much? Remember I was telling you about the rice farmer near me that had a couple of fifths and sixths ? Well I was hoping he would sell me a fifty just because it was from my area and it would stay in the valley. Only nostalgia on my part. His fifths are pretty rough compared to yours. Anyway I still have your video on my iPhone. I didn't mean to get your hopes up and then just drop all contact like I did. So let me know the price and I will say yes or no and I don't like to haggle over price. I have a question, when caterpillar paints a new tractor do they paint them after assembly or do the paint the parts before assembly?

Hello Art
I am not sure on the paint process up at track-type. Here in Decatur All of the trucks are now painted pre assembly. The only product we build that is still painted post assembly are the wheel tractor scrapers. I would suspect before long they will go tp the pre assembly paint as well. I will send you a PM on the Diesel fifty. Thanks Bill
