I know of a 3J with blade in New Hampshire for under $1000 dollars--hasn't been run in a few years.

This is an old thread but rather than start a new one....is a D4 better for restoration? vs a D2. I've been watching CL and have seen a few but never contacted the owners. These were running units with a blade but I wasn't sure what a decent price was. It seems I recall reading on here there are more parts available for the D4???

thats a difficult question on what has the most parts available--it does seem to me that D2's are more numerous.
also for an example I bought my D4 7U a couple of years ago for $2100, both engines ran and everything worked. I think that was a bit on the low side for a running D4
