HI Guys,
have cat D4 I am parting out. Want parts to go to good home. Repaired crack in head and did not reassemble properly. Water in main engine rusted. Hsa sat for a few years Pony motor worked well 2 or so years ago... LOts of good parts. Am in Half Moon Bay Ca.

The serial number should be located on the back of the blade, lower left possibly if looking at it head on. A 4A means "angle" so it can be adjusted to cast material to the right or left. A 4S would have a fixed frame that doesn't allow angling of the blade.

the serial # is 4G729 as close as I can make out. The blade is fixed as it only goes up and down . No tilt.....

this # 4G729 is on the back of the tractor left side.. I will ask my mechanic buddy if we can find any other #'s
