For some time now I've been looking for the electric start set up for the pony motor on my D47U.
I believe (don't know for sure) a different fire wall is needed as well.
Anyone know where I could get the complete set up?
I have the twin pulleys on the pony crank. One for the V belt and one for the rope pulley that I use now. Arm is getting old and tired, looking for a button to press.

best of luck finding one - I tried for a year, was promised one by the local Cat wrecker Dave T, but one never turned up:(.
I ended up fitting a starter generator - the type used on golf carts - which I bought from fleabay for 170, made a bracket, bought a belt, fitted a battery into a steel box and a regulator and solonoid, key ignition switch, couple of leads and Bob's your uncle. Just in case you get stuck, there is another solution....not genuine I know, but it cost little and can easily be removed for the purist purchaser down the track, and does not require the bulkhead to be cut.
