Need an engine oil pump Cat 12 grader 70D

I'm looking at a 71D parts book (same as 70D except 71D is direct electric start) and comparing to the D318 engine used in a 9U-D6 of the same 1953-1955 vintage as the #6 shovel.

The gears in the D318 oil pump used in the 9U and the 71D are the same. The top body (coupling end) 7F3120 is the same. The main body(center) and lower pump bodies are different part numbers.

The gears are:
2-4F4859
2-4F4858
1-7F3129
1-7F3130

7F3134 is a shaft, not a gear and is also the same.

Hope that helps.

Oil pump for the 70D Grader will be hard to come by.
I had the same problem and was able to get enough pieces from an 8T Grader to re-assemble the pump.
I believe you will have to pull the oil pan to do this job.
