Hello folks, I am a farmer in Carpenter Wyoming and have a 9U D6 (1959?). It was purchased by a ranch new and used their it's whole life. Point being, it is not nearly as worn out as one from a construction company. There is not a lot of rust as well due to our dry climate. It has a hydraulic blade that will angle with pins. The pony motor has really low compression, so it is usually easier to just pull start it. The electrical system is shot as the generator is missing. It has sat outside most of it's life, so the paint is also bad. Anyway, it seems too good to go to the scrap yard, but it may end up there if I can't find anyone interested. I had great plans of fixing it up and using it, but have found that with the farm, a young family, as well as another much newer dozer and several other hobbies, it just ain't gonna happen.
