1956 Caterpillar D6 Dozer, Serial Number 9U 19724, Runs good but looks rough and needs TLC. Good power, hydraulic blade.
The latch for the pony needs work, but the pony clutch works and it can be started that way. I normally pull-start it for convenience. New radiator, gauges and some other parts, UC ~ 50%. Great project machine for restoration.
I don't want this to go to the scrap yard; asking $3,000.00 US.

Where is the the old girl located. Does it work well enough now to drag a few logs out of the timber up to the heat-mor a couple of times a year? Would the seller consider anything under 3k?

I still have the Caterpillar available. Located about 17 miles northeast of Lansing, Michigan.
I have gotten some parts directly from Caterpillar, others from scrap yards. I got the radiator core new from Florida at a lower price than available from Caterpillar or local radiator shops by doing an internet search but shipping costs must be considered, especially for heavy or bulky parts.
