Does anyone have a shop manual for this engine? I need some specs for it.
This is a D318GT Stationary Power Unit. It is a turbo charged 200 HP engine and was used in Bucyrus Erie Cranes among other aplications.
I need the torque specs for the Rods, Mains and Head bolts and also the liner protrusion tolerances.
I also need the injector height for setting the plunger travel and the injector length tolerance.
Thanks

This what I have for the older D318 NA & the mains are 120 lbs. & rods 58 lbs. & the head is 130 for the bigger nuts & 58 lbs. for the smaller nuts. Also the lifter setting for the inj. pumps is 1.736" at TDC on the firing stroke for that cyl. Also the prechambers are listed as 200 lbs.in the head & the nozzle nuts are 105 lbs.If you have cotter pins in the rod & mains don,t back the nut up to get the pins in but advance (tighten nut) to the next hole showing.

For the missing items:
Liner protrusion .002 - .005
Plunger length new 2.6575 - 2.6577
Discard if wear exceeds .005
That's a pretty rare engine:D

Yes OM I forgot to include the liner projection specs. Also with the plungers it,s very important to observe if there is up & down wear (scoring) at the top of the plunger & if it shows scoring of the finish at the very top of the plunger above the groove around it.
