Your local Cat dealer sells it as Old Cat Yellow, it costs about $60 for 4 litres, or about $9 in spray cans, it is made here in Oz for them by Wattyl, I have a couple of cans in my shed, but unlike the U.S made paint for Cat, the Aussie version requires the use of a primer first. On the Wattyl labe it says "Wattyly Industrial Coatings" "All Purpose ENL" OLD CAT YELLOW 32321 R/N160413.004B2 If you do a search of older threads in the Discussion section you will see one from "auscuscus" asking the same question on 4-15-2011, he offers an alternative paint option.
Hope that helps
regards
Mike

All
I recently purchased Old Cat Yellow from Wattyl. It is their Agricultural Enamel and is listed as "William Adams Old Cat Yellow." $76 for 4 litres. I purchased it from their Trade Centre in Brooklyn Melbourne. For areas that are back to metal they recommend applying it over their general purpose grey primer. The colour match appears to be pretty close to my 1959 D4 7U. Cheers

Beware, old Cat yellow is more orange than highway yellow. Highway yellow (a bright Yellow) is the colour that was used up until they went to lead free paint, they then started what is known as 'Old Cat yellow'. All the early tractors up until the early 70's were highway yellow, thereafter 'Old Cat yellow' less the lead, a more orange colour..

the protec enamel still has a little lead in it. but yes much less than it used to. and yes it has a more orange tint. if you want a more exact match get them to mix a colour for you but remember to buy enough for the whole job in one hit and if multiple tins mix em together before use so you get a even colouration.
