I thought you guys would like to see something unique. We drove this out of the shed on Saturday!

Looks wonderful. You don't want that in a shed, you want it in a barn....I have a barn.
What is the s/n?

Tractor was completely re-built by Jim Zimmerman, crank to draw bar,and I think it's as good or better than new. Serial #1D4. Thanks Jim.

Real nice machine. I had heard about it form the fellow down the road from you and from Al. Jim, Cat-Iron knows where my collection is stored as he hauled in my Oshkosh many moons ago.

The embarassing thing was the number of people that want to buy it! I was asked to photograph it and post it. So I labeled it as "look what we got out of the shed". Suddenly everyone wants it in there shed!
I am a new friend / aquaintence with the owner who for whatever reason remains onymous. I am happy that everyone is enjoying the beauty of the machine knowing that it didn't end up recycled into something else!
He does have more toys in the shed and I hope to be honored to photograph more of them outdoors!

Some of us know him. I have know him for some time. He is quite the collector and has a nice collection. The D-2 you saw pulling the scraper at our little show belonged to Cat-Iron at one time. I have to go and help Al Smith with his 60 and Diesel 40 this morning. Got to put them in storage shed. We might use the 60 for my Son's wedding next week. It would be nice as my wife's family worked for Cat at one time or another.
