will a d7 17a motor work in a low horse d7e i've heard they were the same only the d7e has a turbo,also are the bell housings the same, will the 17a motor work with a d7e powershift trans? any help would be greatly appreciated

No You Can't Use 17a Motor For Power Shift Transmission And The Housing Is Not The Same.

thanks gem another question i have is can you replace the fiber clutch links in a 3t dry clutch cat with machined metal links? thank you for your reply

I.d think the fiber links are used for a reason to absorb shock & vibration & also any misalignment for a smooth operation where solid ones I,d imagine wouldn,t do any of these.They work almost like a universal joint I,d guess.
