Bob it is a long story and I will tell you about it sometime. The rumors have been flying. I like the latest that Matt has been cruising Burnett Rd with the Superliner. As far as I know it has not left the barn since it came back from Al's Funeral. I hope to be there Sunday.

Any tips on getting a dead D4 5T loaded onto a trailer? Found a great parts-Cat/possible fixer-upper...but it is dead!!! Found tons of folks with trailers...just no easy way to load the dang thing!!!

I've pulled them on with a "come-along" hooked on the tracks but best thing is a steel cable and a pulley (block) chained to the front of the trailer, then use another tractor to pull it on. I have a large diameter single pulley and a double pulley with a 7/16 inch steel cable that I use for doubling my pulling power.
