955 12A Traxcavator – the next step (picture)

I didn't have a "step" to get up on the old Traxcavator - so I took a few pieces of scrap and fabricated what you see in the pictures.

One of those 45 minute jobs (less painting).

It attaches with single bolt in an existing 3/4"-10 threaded hole.

I wanted something different for the tread surface so I made saw cuts in the angle iron and them bent them alternately.

It feels really secure when you step on it.

OK, I get the title now - the next "step". Good idea, there. Another one of those little projects that once completed make life a whole lot easier.
