I pick this 53 Pete up a couple of months ago. I just got it back yesterday with a new hood. Here ya go Mike its got a two stick, now you can drive something with a real transmission.

What engine does it have ? 1693 cat ? Most trucks were changed over to 9 or 13 speeds but the 2 sticks are fun to drive. Nice rig, wish i had one!

zootownjeepguy, It has a aftercooled 335 Cummins in it. I would of preferred a
3406B or a 1693. My lowbed truck have Cats.It would of been
nice to have a Cat in the Antique crawler hauler.But it runs
good so I can't complain.The Jakes sound good with the
straight stacks.

cowboyofequipment. The two stick is sure a lot of fun drive.In todays traffic I
sure wouldnt want to have to drive it full time though.I am
going to take it for a Sunday drive tomorrow,then it is going
to get some crome and lights added to it, then to the paint
shop.

paint that thing cat yellow with black fenders and you will have one cool ride!
