Sticking D2 Main Clutch? was created by ktmrider
What would cause my D2 clutch to stick when I push the lever forward? I have to tap the brakes and then it breaks free. It does not feel like it is dragging, just sticking until enough load breaks the plates free to disengage it.

Could be several reasons:
Linkage adjustment
Linkage wear
Contaminated clutch surfaces
Worn splines on main shaft
and probably a couple more that I missed:)
