Hi Everyone,

Here are a few pictures of the first DW20 model. This model is assembled with components from the first shots off the tools. Dave Tallon is reviewing the model, then it will be presented to the Cat TML people for their pre-production approval.

Please note that the windshield frame is not painted on this model, but will be on the production models.

Regards,
Lee

Mike, The next issue of the ACMOC magazine will have the details for ordering. It will be formally introduced at the show in Portland, Indiana in August.

Tom, I think Dave Tallon and First Gear have done another great job on this model. It will look nice on the shelf and even better when paired with the 456 scraper.

Regards,
Lee

Hi, Lee.
Congrats to all concerned. It looks like it might have been made by somebody who knew something about it. LOL.

Thanks for sharing.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Can the ordering instructions be posted on here to allow non-subscribers to place an order?

I let my membership/subscription lapse, due to economic circumstances, but I had already planned on getting one of these when they were first announced.

Nice tractor. Will the finished model have fenders?

Looks like another winner there Lee for sure, thanks for posting the pics and thanks to Dave Tallon for his tireless efforts, it will be neat with the No 456 paired up to it and if that D9G ever comes to fruition us yellow guys will be happier than a *&^ in $(&^, well you know what i mean!

Hi Everyone,

Deas and Gavin-My hat is off to Dave and all the other members who generously give their resources in support of ACMOC in a host of different ways. The club is blessed with a great group of supporters.

Art- The DW20 model can be pre-ordered starting on 30 April. Orders can be placed on-line at the ACMOC website, by calling the office (309-691-5002), or by mail. The regular price is $199 with pre-sale price to members of $169. Shipping cost is additional. Models are expected to be available in late July with formal introduction planned at the Portland, Indiana show in August.

Rch101-Fenders were offered as an attachment to the DW20 tractor. We learned that most of the machines operated without fenders and decided to make the model without fenders as well.

Regards,
Lee
