Hi Guy's, I am readdy to start putting my 13 A D8 engine back together and my servicemans referance book say's nothing about liner height other then put copper "seal" in first. I know when I put my 7U D4 engine back together there was a spec for the height. Also, what are your thoughts on the valve rotaters. My 13A heads were cracked so we had to use heads off a late model 13000 that did not have rotaters. Can I and would you recomend putting the guides in the 13000 heads that would let me use the rotaters or is it not worth the bother. Any coments will be appreciated. Jim Gangle

Usually a minium of .002" & a max of .006" should be good but they all should be pretty close in height to each other.
