John, Wonderful looking truck. I will have to stop by sometime when I am out at Ft Meade for VA checkup and see your equipment, including that old D4 from Melvin Delzer's construction company.

SeaBee Mal,
Come on over, only about 80 miles west of Sturgis. Delzer's place is at exit 10. Go north on 85 about 5 miles you will see the 4 big blue silos that is his feed lot. About 1/2 mile north of there on the west side you will see one of those old minute man silo areas with the chain link fence around it, that is his house. Ross Delzer. Can't miss it, heard that before right? John My number is 307-756-2512. Let me know in advance and will let ya know if I'm off.

John,
Looks like it's going to be a really fun project. I've been thru a few like it with the two 1948 Willy's CJ2A's I own. Thankfully they are done. Now hmmn what to do with 'em? They are too purty to get dirty.

Yep John,
That's a 235 all right. I put a 1955 vintage 235 in my '42 when I restored it about 10 years ago. Great motor, lots of low end torque. Going to be a fun project.

Jim, Love that truck, I had to sell my 46 Chevy when I moved to Wy. Would like to get another one someday. I see you're in Denver that is close, might have to meet up sometime. John

Sounds like a plan, John. I'm south of town in Parker. Would sure enjoy looking at your old iron too.
