Got home from two weeks holidays to find a message from the ACMOC web master asking for info so I could be re registered. Naturally I replied straight away and was back in touch almost immediately. I had to get my password happening again, because I'd forgotten the old one, but all is well and I can view the posts and check out the pics......excellent.
I read the comment about being slow to get the new Bulletin board up and running. I'm on a few other mailing lists. If the people are keen to get back on they will, if they are impatient or as was suggested, don't read their e-mails.......well, what can you do about that?????? You can lead a horse to water..........
Didn't get to play with my D4 this time, had a fleeting vivit to the farm. I'd like some info on the electric start option for the pony motor on a D47u. I've got a parts book which shows the set up, but something a bit more picture like would be good. Anyone got the bits laying around they could take a few pictures of and post them here? I think a different fire wall goes along with it as well? I've seen pics of a few different inventions here on the list, but if I can't get an original, I'd like to try and replicate an original. I really need a small gear wheel a readily available auto electric starter motor would engage into.
regards

Bob, OM on here has all the info you will need to install direct starting on your tractor so I,m sure he will come back to you or give him a PM or E-mail.

Had to read that one again myself. He is asking about pony electric start, not the direct version:)

Darn,
Speed reading got me caught again. Well I have info for the D2 but not D4. If I'd been smarter I'd have started with that model there first.
