My brother and I went for a ride out behind his house looking for this old AC bulldozer he said was parked out there. He last seen it as a teenager in the late '70s when he was setting chokers for Elk River Timber. Said he rode it back in at the end of the day and it was parked we found it. Took these pics with my phone so the quality is not good. The old beast was pretty well run out... bushings worn clear through and into the pins. I found the spot on Google earth at 40deg42'00.89" N 124deg09'07.70" W About all you can see is clouds, but you can see some logging raods and an old work shop

Looks like an A-C HD11 from around the mid-1960's. Shes' been run hard and put away wet.
A-C undercarriage is nearly always in poor shape, because they were always 'light' on undercarriage size for the HP.
That tractor would yield a host of useable parts for another HD11 owner .. there's still a sizeable number of those machines left running.
The winch alone is worth saving, it will likely fit many other tractors.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the old AC. Pacific Lumber owns the land it is on and they filed for bankruptcy this week.
