pony mag D6-2H was created by beaver-flat
When I bought this tractor the mag was missing from the pony (verticle type).
I recently purchased a mag on e-bay. Is there a coupling or plate that goes between the mag drive and the engine drive? The mag is the correct one and has the impulse on it as per the parts book. However the parts book doesn't referance any coupling. Both the coupling on the mag and the one on the engine look the same????

That should be an Eisemann RC2Q magneto I believe. You should be able to find all the info you need here.

At Tulare a couple of years ago I bought a mag coupling from John Matta. It is Aluminum rather than Bakelite. I've read that some have 'carved' them from flat belting. John lives in the Riverside/San Bernadino area in CA. I don't have his telephone number at hand but can find it if needed.
