I ran into a guy that has a Cat 22 that needs steering clutches. I told him the bad news about having to pull the finals to get into it.

He asked about parts and I suggested General Gear. I checked with John and he does not have steering clutches for 22 and 15 and did not know where to get parts.

I know how Cat 22's go through steering clutches and due to the number produced I know many of you have had to work on them. Can anyone suggest where to get linings?

I can,t say for sure but he is into rebuilding and showing old Cats in his museum and also makes some parts to sell for old Cats so he either would have some parts or could direct you a place to get them.
