Hi Gavin84w,

I don't know the status of the 572C at the moment, but will get an update at the committee meeting on 10 December. I'll let you know. Feel free to jog my memory on this board if you don't hear from me.

Norscot is working on a 966E wheel loader as the next model. I wouldn't dare hazard a guess as to delivery date at this point.

The next ACMOC exclusive model will be an R2 manufactured by SpecCast. Since it was primarily an ag tractor, it will be done in 1:16 scale. It will further utilize the existing D2 tooling. It should be a good program for these economic times since the risk to the club is low, and the return, if it is successful, is good. This program was approved by the board at the November meeting.

The thread you initiated and all the collector comments were very helpful. We have revised the 10 year model plan to accomodate as many of the "wants" as we could. The change to the plan was significant. I think the collectors will be pleased as it unfolds over the next 10 years. :)

Lee

Lee,

Thanks very much for the response, this sort of forum gives every one at least the chance to put there thoughts across and although you can not accomadate every request at least you had your say. Perhaps ACMOC could put out a short list of say 3 models and ask for votes to gauge interest?

I,m thinking the E in 966E is a typo and should be a B? The E model is definently not 40+ yrs old and i hope 1/50 scale?

I hope the DW21 ranks as next on the list after the D9 series is done, that model done by first gear would be a sell out for sure.

Cheers
Gavin

Hi Gavin,

Yes, thanks for catching my error. It is a 966A. And the scale is 1:50.

Lee

Thanks for the info, a 966A will be well recieved. Modern versions of almost any of the old Reuhl/Eska/Ertl machines would be a good bet, for those of us who missed them the first time, and can't afford them now!
I vote for the DW10 1V series,, A DW21 would be nice, and sometime later a D6C, and a 666 in 1/50.
There are many others.....

966A in 1/50, that sounds great. That is a rear wheel steer jobby if i remember correct and would go under the "Traxcavator" banner i think.
