Cat 22 magneto question - Wico mag?

More

Can anybody tell me if the terminal with the nut on it that is below the data plate on my Wico Model X magneto used for grounding out the mag to kill the engine? I want to rig up a kill switch but didn't want to ground out the wrong thing. Apparently my ignition switch doesn't work-no continuity shown on an ohm meter.

Thanks

Pete

You are correct, thats what it is used for. Sometimes working and lubricating those switches will help them work better.

Thanks for the info. I'll try the oil on it.
