I am finding time even with work to get some time in on the Ten. I replaced all bearings, and 1 pinion shaft in the final drives along with brake pads. Steering clutches are in good shape cleaned them.I have a new set of bellows seals to go in due to the bearings in the finals were so bad the sprockets had some much play the ate the bellows up,the plate was all that was left. I used self etching primer for a good stick after the sandblast. I have a good intake and mag for Marks Magneto. The tracks are getting new pins and bushings in PA. I am working on rebuilding and making new bronze bushing for the rollers. Will get more pics on as I get there.

Jason, its great to see photos of another tractor going through a "Re-Build" and things are looking good. the brake band seems to be solid in one long section, is this how it is ment to be, or is it going to be cut into sections, I ask this as I cannot understand how the band will contract without being in small sections?? I have little knowage only on these early tractors so I have to ask the question.

Thanks Greg I have been working on it as much as I can trying to make big show in 2009 NY.
As far as the brake bands I have only seen them in one piece. That was how they were on all my machines so far I think that they were one in all the Cats:) I could be wrong not sure. The band grabs on the whole steering clutch drum.

Jason,
If you make it up to the show, let me know. I should have my 1952 D2 and 1924 Holt 2ton there, along with 2 or 3 IH wheel tractor. Working to get my IH W6 set up for my girls to pull with next year. Don't expect to win, but it fun to watch the girl pull.
