Have any of you throttle jockys ever thought to look in the back of your cat for one of these. I found this one in the back of an RD6.

That looks like it might be the collar used to connect rear-mounted powered equipment like winches and CCU's to the power shaft coming through the transmission back in the days before live PTO's.

A splined coupler for a CCU! .. and you found it lying in the bevel gear compartment of the RD6?? ..

Hi, Jon.
There is a pretty fair chance that, if you were to go fishing around in the bottom of the bevel gear compartment with a magnet, you might also find a pin and a circlip to match the hole and the groove in that coupler.
