UPDATE:. Thanks to all whom have been in contact with myself.
I can Confirm we are NOW recasting the Inlet Manifolds and Exhaust Manifolds Too. As a Request from Cat Cave Members.
Inlet Manifolds. we are recasting BOTH Versions of Inlets. The SMALL Bore and Larger Big Brother LARGE Bore for R5. Different Inlets with different Flange Mounts for Carb and Larger dia bore throughout.
Exhaust Manifold. Same across 35/40/R5.
We have Orders confirmed and all Good to Go. Special Thank you to CAT-CAVE Members for Getting the Minimum Quantiles required to re-made again.
Anyone Else wanting any of these parts whom have not yet been in contact with myself. The deadline is Near.
Last change to contact myself will be Sunday 19th Jan (my time).
Monday 20th Jan. Morning 8:00 am I will be in the Sand Pit Moulding up. Explosion Risk Area, No Mobile Phones allowed beyond this point. The Sand Moulds for these Inlet and Exhaust Casting all require the use of Overhead Crane to Assemble the Top Half and move to the Place to be poured due to the size and weight of the moulds.
Looks like the Cat Cave Re Manufacturing these Rare Manifold Parts will enable Fellow Caterpillar Collectors to get there Early Gas 35 / 40 / R5, Up and running again. Preserving Caterpillar Historical Machinery.
