I called Kevin Kalsem about his Ten,I had a few questions and told him that I was very interested in the Ten. I called back two days later and it was sold Kevin was still able to help me with some parts for my other Ten. Well I got home on thursday and long and behold the Ten was sitting in my driveway. My girlfriend had bought the Ten and drove to Iowa to pick it up.
I still can't get over it. She is a keeper and to you Kevin I am grateful.
I went through the crawler and it looks very good. Lifted track guards off to remove a lot of farm dirt before the metal pits. Hard to believe that the top of the track frames are in such good shape for the year. It is really in very good shape I will take more pics and post them soon. What do you guys think restore it or leave it original just wanted some feed back.

Looks like a good find. I mean the Ten - I don't know your girlfriend but, if she bought that for you and went and picked it up, she sounds like she has a LOT going for her.

Well Jason , I did the best I could to keep you from getting upset with me for having SOLD the TEN but I thought the end results would really be awsome!! I hope you are happy with the tractor, and I think you better hang on to that GIRL!!! I found out a little history on that tractor; I was told by a friend of the previous owner that it came from New York originally(Where it spent its working life) I will email you the gentlemans name and # that may be able to give you a little more history on it. I think it's neat that it went back to the area where it likely spent most of its' life. That is okay you did a great job. I thought that something was up and to be honest with you my girlfriend does these type of things for me. I think that she likes these old crawlers more than me. She goes to all the shows and once she is on one you can't pry her off. Did she tell you about her 1954 Chopped Merc. Anyway the Ten is great I cleaned it all up and,changed fluids,flushed Rad and steering clutches. I put it in the corner of the shop and not it is back to work on the other Ten:) . In all you are a great fellow and I am very happy with the Ten. I would buy a tractor from you any day. I can't thank you enough. Take care and I will keep in touch Thanks.
