Looking at the top tank, the placement of the air cleaner, style of precleaner and where the fuel tank is. Late RD6!

I'm sorta thinking that is a vintage snapshot or scan from a brochure . Notice the border and the fading color. Possibly 1950's thru 1970's.

Photo - looks very much like it was scanned from a book or other printed materials.
Trying to look closely, pretty FLAT county and based upon the way the snow is pushed from the "V" Plow, it has been sitting for a while and is "WET", not dry cold country powder.
Machine looks like it may have a Left Hand Wing too.
NO snow covering any portions of the Cat - makes me believe it was a Photo OP shot taken during cold/clear weather.
Electric Lights shining brightly, but where are the "wipers"?
Usually, "V" plows were used for pushing through drifts or opening roads, cast both directions, so if trying to clear a roadway going both directions, one loses half the width of the plow.
Radiator Cap - is the oblong held down with the spring.

We all wait for the answer - maybe a Christmas Present?

Merry Christmas all,
"keep 'em crawlin"

8D-132. I agree with You. YOU’RE THE WINNER !!!!!.   The File was named RD6 Late 1950s.  Talking of where does Time go. How many years have you Known me ?, Must have been 25 Years ago When I first spoken on the Cell Phone with you. Pre Internet.

Photos of my D6 2H 1936, Purchased in California and been used on same farm from new. Engine Brass Plate on Crank Ground, been well maintained and was still used for 2 weeks Mole Draining after I paid for it. Then loaded up to bring home. I still have the Canopy, removed to load into a Tin Can for shipping. We used the D6 to track in brick hardcore around the Roadway etc.  I have the Hyster Winch and Light set which I plan to add.

I Do have a Question 8D-132, When Did the Fuel Cap Change from Cast Iron to Aluminium Type ?? or was it the other way around ??
