Got a question about the bushing assembly in my roller that I’m rebuilding. My roller has the 7B2560 bushing assembly with the 1F2695 bronze bushing in it.
I ordered two used bushing assemblies thinking they would come with the bushings, but they sent 9F0593 bushing assemblies that have no bushings, and they’re made out of aluminum instead of steel with bronze bushes. The aluminum is machined to fit the shaft with no allowance for a bronze bushing to insert.
I see that it’s a replacement for my part number on General Gears website, but going back with aluminum concerns me. Being a weekend, I can’t just call to ask.
Is it a direct replacement and has anybody ran into this before? I had to weld up my shaft and turn it down as the roller was ran to destruction.

are you sure there not aluminium bronze. that comes in a range of grades and some are so tough they have to be cast and forged as they are tough to machine.
