In need of 8H2778 gasket for the primary filter on my 944.  Does anyone have a replacement part number without having to make a 3 hour trip to caterpillar.

Oh for the old days when filters came with several sizes of gasket rings in the box. So since I have no idea where to send you to look. Unless you have friends that have serviced heavy equipment for years and are also pack rats. If they are unorganized pack rats like me ,may have it but can I find it.

Thanks for the reply. The Oklahoma City Dealership did not have any of these. They could get them by tomorrow. Enid, Oklahoma had 10. So it was wait a day and fight 60 miles of OKC traffic, or drive 140 miles on 4 lane highways and small town to get them today. I have 3 in my hand now. I dont think there is any replacement for these as they are a very thin ring. I dont remember ever having one of them around.
