Hello,
Ive recently inherited my uncles 939 PIN # 9GL00446, I have never operated it before although I should have asked him to show me but didn't...
Im trying to find an operators manual but the ones I've found say what in the box below and I don't know if that's a good manual or not... I can't even figure out how to start this thing, the battery is charged, I turn the key, glow light comes on I push the glow light button and all i get is a "click" at the starter when I turn the key. Everything is in neutral, what am I missing? any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

Thank you Sir! I appreciate that information. I was able to talk to a CAT parts man and he told me about the manual which I was able to download. As far as I can tell I have everything set correctly, break is on, everything in neutral, all gauges work including the horn
but just a click... the starter won't engage... is there a solenoid for the starter that maybe is bad? If so I dont see one but, would think there's one somewhere.
Dave

That one may be new enough to have the "butt in the seat" safety switch.
Starter solenoid should be mounted on the starter itself.

If it is a loud click at the starter the solenoid sounds like it needs replacing.
